Glue gun , Box cutter or retractable blade (adults only), Sensory materials for in the bowls – spaghetti, chia seeds, rice
Top Tip
Place a binbag at the bottom of the box to catch any spills and protect the box.
How to Make
Step 1
Take a large box and draw 4 circles onto the top (you can draw around a side plate).
Step 2
Cut out the 4 holes.
Step 3
Separate the 4 holes using masking tape and paint each square a different colour.
Step 4
Take 4 sheets of foam and cut them into a circle bigger than your hole, then fold in half and fold again it will look like a pizza slice, cut from the point about 7 cm into the centre. This will make a cross when you open the circle.
Step 5
Stick on the foam circles to the inside of the holes.
Step 6
Decorate using the pintables, then fill bowls with sensory materials and place one under each mystery hole and close the box.
