How to Make
Step 1
Celebrate Chinese New Year with a vibrant touch by crafting your own Year of the Rabbit Paper Plate Drum! This fun and engaging project transforms simple paper plates into a festive, rabbit-themed drum that’s perfect for adding rhythm and cheer to your celebrations.
Step 2
Once dry, use the gold deco pen to draw the silhouette of a rabbit and colour it in.
Use a black pen to draw an eye and then write ‘2023’ above the rabbit.
Step 3
Use a yellow deco pen to draw lines around the edge of the paper plate.
Cut two pieces of yellow wool about 20cm long. Tie a knot in the end of each one and thread some yellow and red beads onto them.
Take the other paper plate that you painted in step 1 and put double sided tape all the way around the inside edge. Stick each piece of wool onto either side, and a yellow wooden craft stick at the bottom.
