Supplies Needed
- White glue or PVA glue
- Poster paint or acrylic paint
- Paper cups or small mixing containers
- Squeeze bottles
- Sticks or coffee stirrers
STEPS
1Prepare small bottles of glue.
Think about how many colors of puffy paint you want to make. Prepare the same number of small bottles of white glue (e.g. 1.25 oz or 4 oz. bottles).
If you have a large bottle of white glue, you can transfer the glue into smaller squeeze bottles.
2Add some paint.
Add a small amount of poster paint or acrylic paint into each glue bottle or squeeze bottle.
If you want to make a stiff puffy paint for decorating glass, CD’s or plastic surfaces, mix 2 parts white glue with 1 part acrylic paint.
3Mix well.
Use a small a stick or a coffee stirrer to mix the paint inside the glue bottle. Add more paint if you want to increase the color intensity.
4Make more colored glue.
Color more bottles of glue with various colors of paint.
5Use the colored glue.
Use the colored paste as you would use puffy paint. Check out some crafts you can make in the section below.
